Dear Classmates,
I have these lines to share with you again. In my solitary moments in the coolness and green atmosphere of my garden, lots of things are pondering in my mind that I usually end up scribbling something. The following lines came up after thinking of our GJC. My forte in writing acrostic poems emerge once again, thus the following lines came up:
CLASS 1961 GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION
G – old as a gem or color symbolizes greatness and grandeur;
O – bject for grand celebrations in special occasions;
L – aureate for those who are given the honors;
D – edicated to someone or a group for a purpose;
E – ffective symbol for a grand reunion;
N – ostalgic after reaching the twilight years of our lives.
J – ewel celebration after 50 years of high school life;
U – ultimate meeting of classmates and friends with all the grays and wrinkles;
B – atch of Class 1961 graduates with different achievements in life;
I – mbued with different talents and expertise in their chosen field;
L – uminous in his/her own star;
E – mbodiment of closeness and camaraderie with friends;
E – minent celebration for a grand reunion with family and friends.
